CerebraAI develops AI software that analyses non-contrast CT brain scans, generating a personalised image of the patient's healthy brain to help physicians detect acute ischemic stroke quickly. It grew out of an AI lab founded in Almaty in October 2018, moved its headquarters to Palo Alto in 2024 and keeps an office in Almaty. It says its ASPECTS and ICH modules were registered in Kazakhstan in 2021; the software has no US FDA clearance, as the company itself states.
