Gecko Robotics builds robots that climb, fly and swim to collect data on physical assets such as power plants, pipelines and warships, feeding its Cantilever software platform for operating and modernising critical infrastructure. Based in Pittsburgh, it was co-founded by CEO Jake Loosararian, who is of Armenian origin, and Troy Demmer, and works with the US military, Fortune 100 companies and ADNOC. In June 2025 it raised a $125 million Series D led by Cox Enterprises, valuing it at $1.25 billion.
