Higgsfield makes a browser-based AI creative suite for producing cinematic short-form video, from ideation to editing and post-production. It was founded in San Francisco in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, an entrepreneur from Kazakhstan who previously led generative AI at Snap after Snap bought his company AI Factory, and Mahi De Silva. In September 2025 it raised a $50 million Series A led by GFT Ventures at a $1 billion valuation.
