About

Lawformer builds legal AI that works inside Microsoft Word, helping in-house legal teams draft and review contracts against their own playbooks and manage legal knowledge. It was started in 2021 by four Georgian lawyers, launched its first product, a contract clause library, in July 2022, and released a fully agentic drafting assistant in October 2026. The company is now incorporated in Delaware and states San Francisco as its headquarters, while its main team is in Tbilisi. Its published customers include SOCAR, Tegeta Holding, Aversi and TBC Uzbekistan. It raised a $100,000 pre-seed from the Georgian venture builder Noxtton and won a GITA co-financing grant in 2022.
