Payze

Payze built online payment processing for businesses in Georgia and other former-Soviet markets, with a single integration for card acceptance, split payments for marketplaces and subscriptions. YC described it as 'Stripe for former Soviet Union countries'. Founded in Tbilisi in 2020, it went through Y Combinator's Summer 2021 batch and operated under the National Bank of Georgia payment-service-provider registration of Cleard Systems LLC. In late 2025 the company announced it was no longer operating in Georgia and not onboarding new clients, and its website has been offline since mid-2026. The licensed entity remains on the National Bank register.
