About

It was founded in Tashkent in 2022 by Djasur Djumaev with co-founders Nikolay Seleznev and Roman Lavrentyev, absorbing the Apelsin bank app and Paymart. More than 17 million people use it each month. It became Uzbekistan's first tech unicorn with a Series A in March 2024, raised equity from Tencent and VR Capital in 2025 and a strategic investment led by Omani sovereign entities in 2026, and reported a $176 million net profit for 2025.
