Uzbekistan’s Bigmart has closed a $500,000 pre-seed round to expand its corporate procurement platform, with backing from United Ventures, Imkon Ventures, Aloqa Ventures and IT Park Ventures.
Imkon Ventures announced the completed round on October 7. United Ventures contributed $200,000, while Imkon, Aloqa and IT Park Ventures each invested $100,000. The total includes the IT Park Ventures investment previously announced during ICT Week Uzbekistan.
Bigmart was founded by Ilhom Omonov.
Bigmart brings business purchasing into a single marketplace. Instead of arranging separate orders and paperwork with multiple suppliers, companies can buy through one contract and a single interface. Imkon describes a service that digitises the process from placing an order to preparing reports.
The investor says the catalogue contains more than 40,000 products and names Akfa, Murad Buildings, Kapitalbank, EPAM, Dodo Pizza and TEAM University among its customers. Bigmart advertises free delivery within 24 hours across Tashkent.
On Bigmart’s website, buyers can browse categories including office supplies, cleaning and hygiene products, electronics, food and furniture. The catalogue also includes corporate gifts and business services, giving procurement teams a place to source different types of workplace purchases.
The purchasing process supports bank transfers and corporate cards, with invoices handled through Didox. The company presents its supplier network as including manufacturers, dealers and distributors. These features place ordering, payment and documentation within the same corporate purchasing service.
IT Park Ventures said Bigmart will use the funding to scale its business, enter new segments and implement AI technology for predictive analytics. The investor also lists Wildberries among the companies using the platform.
The planned AI work builds on the product direction outlined in IT Park Ventures’ September investment announcement, which described an assistant for forecasting purchasing needs, managing inventory and identifying suitable market prices.
The round brings four venture investors into that next phase of development. Bigmart’s stated priorities are to expand the reach of its procurement service and build tools that help businesses plan what they need to buy.
