Joygrid Ventures has invested in Turkish mobile-game developer Mobge at a $10 million valuation. In an announcement shared by investment director Ali Özdemir, the investor said the studio is concentrating on action projects with the potential to reach players internationally.
Mobge is the developer of Oddmar, an action-adventure platform game set in a world inspired by Viking mythology. The studio’s description of the game follows its central character through forests, mountains and mines, combining platforming with a story presented through an illustrated motion comic.
The company’s creative team spans game design, programming, illustration, animation and production. Mobge identifies Özgür Taşkın and Ferhat Aydoğan as its co-founders, with both contributing to game design. Taşkın works on turning ideas into projects, while Aydoğan also contributes to the studio’s programming.
Joygrid’s announcement describes a team with experience across different game genres and project sizes. Its next phase puts more time and resources behind the projects it sees as having the strongest potential, with the aim of developing larger games that players continue returning to over time.
The investor said Mobge’s approach combines rapid production, testing and repeated improvements. The partnership is intended to support that development process as the studio directs its attention toward action games for the mobile market.
Joygrid describes itself as an early-stage investor rooted in Türkiye’s technology ecosystem. Its stated focus includes mobile gaming and digital and interactive media, with hands-on support for the teams it backs. Özdemir called Mobge the first investment in Joygrid’s new chapter.
For Mobge, the announced next step is to concentrate development resources on its most promising projects, supported by a partner that says it will work closely with the team over the long term.
