Five Georgian startups at SWITCH — Georgia’s first national pavilion

Georgia presented its first national pavilion at Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology, bringing five startups to the event under the StartUP in Georgia initiative. Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency supported Clinova, Dunno, Omniform Systems, Vybe and PhytoTester, each with its own exhibition stand.

In an October 29 announcement, GITA said the pavilion marked the country’s first representation in this format at SWITCH. The event brings together startups, investors, technology companies and ecosystem organisations for international business connections.

SWITCH’s official programme placed the event at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre from October 27 to 29. Its exhibition floor featured more than 400 startups and exhibitors and over 30 global pavilions, according to the organiser’s event information.

The Georgian companies were part of that international exhibition programme. Deputy Economy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili and GITA chairman Avtandil Kasradze visited their stands and viewed the technology products on display, the agency said.

One participant, Clinova, describes its product as an AI-powered clinical-trial recruitment platform for emerging markets. The company had previously announced its selection for the Georgian pavilion, connecting its work in clinical recruitment with the wider international startup event.

Alongside the exhibition floor, SWITCH’s programme included sessions on deep technology and international expansion. SWITCH Beyond focused on taking deep-tech concepts into applications, while SWITCH Global covered entering new markets and navigating their innovation programmes.

For the Georgian delegation, the exhibition provided a shared national platform while giving each of the five startups its own stand to present its product to the event’s international audience.
