InnoWeek–2026 opened in Tashkent on October 27, bringing researchers, companies, startups, investors and government representatives together for three days of exhibitions and programme events. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation said the week is organised by the Agency for Innovative Development and will run through October 29 under the theme “Innovations for a Changing World.”
The ministry reported that around 200 representatives from more than 30 countries are taking part, alongside about 50 international companies, universities, research centres, venture capital funds, financial organisations and other partners. The ministry’s participant list spans universities and research centres as well as companies, venture capital funds, financial organisations and other international partners participating in the week. The opening brought together officials, university leaders, researchers, technology specialists, entrepreneurs and young innovators.
The exhibition spans more than 15,000 square metres. Its 265 exhibitors include 225 local and 40 international participants, presenting 750 products across 12 thematic sections and 240 stands. The ministry said the displays include work from young startups, innovative businesses, university spin-offs, research organisations, regional youth technoparks and participants in the World Bank’s MUNIS project.
Startup presentations are part of the week’s programme. The ministry lists 21 events in total, including two Demo Days. The official InnoWeek schedule lists the Youth Cup incubation programme Demo Day, where young teams present startup and business projects for feedback on investment and market potential and connect with investors and partners. It also lists an INNOLAB startup-acceleration Demo Day, with project presentations and expert feedback on commercialisation and market fit.
The programme brings startup showcases into a wider science and business agenda. Forums, award ceremonies, research discussions and B2B meetings are scheduled alongside the exhibition, giving local organisations opportunities to meet international companies and discuss joint projects. The ministry said the week also includes a Korea-linked innovation programme and recognition for regional projects, inventors and young innovators.
InnoWeek continues through October 29, with the Youth Cup and INNOLAB Demo Days scheduled as part of the final-day programme. The week gives young teams two stages to present their projects to ecosystem participants, investors and potential partners.
