Fal announces Series F. Bessemer leads the round.

Fal has announced a Series F investment led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued backing from NVIDIA. The San Francisco-headquartered company disclosed the financing alongside an earlier Series E led by Sequoia Capital.

The latest round raised $1.3 billion at a $16 billion valuation, according to Bloomberg reporting summarised by Investing.com. That report dates the Series F financing to October and the earlier $350 million Series E to April. The two rounds were announced together in November.

In its announcement, Fal said the investments would support the computing capacity needed to run generative media models and the team developing its products. Its customers include entertainment studios, advertising agencies, e-commerce businesses, game developers and marketing teams using generated media in their production workflows.

Fal provides the infrastructure that runs AI models when a developer requests an image, video or audio output. This process, known as inference, lets software companies build creative tools around models without managing all the underlying computing infrastructure themselves.

Bessemer said developers can access thousands of models through a single API, while model developers use Fal for distribution and serverless infrastructure. The investor named Adobe, Canva, Shopify and Amazon among companies sending production workloads to the platform.

The business has also expanded beyond hosting models. Bessemer described a product range spanning workflow tools, enterprise infrastructure for customers’ own models, and further training of models alongside the laboratories that develop them. This additional training adapts existing models, rather than starting their development from scratch.

Fal was founded in 2021 by Gür and Yurtseven, drawing on their experience at Coinbase and Amazon. The company remains headquartered in San Francisco and operates with an international team. Its connection to Türkiye’s startup ecosystem includes its selection by Endeavor Türkiye earlier this year, when the organisation welcomed Yurtseven as an Endeavor entrepreneur.

Bessemer’s November 3 announcement confirms its role as lead investor in the new Series F. Fal says the financing will support work across its ecosystem in 2027, including new research and new ways for customers to create media.
